Sales Manager

Full-time position with hybrid office opportunity

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing business and managing accounts through direct sales solicitation to ensure defined revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. 

The Courtyard Burlington Harbor Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for bringing in clients and earning defined group room revenue goals. He/she will work with the Director of Sales to plan sales promotions, establish strategies, and set sales goals. The Sales Manager must seek out business for both local and regional group opportunities such as but not limited to Social, Government, Regional, Association, and Corporate segments. This role is responsible for maximizing revenue by selling all facets of the hotel to previous, current, and potential clients. Strong communication and customer service skills are a must with demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees, and third parties.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

- Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel to previous, current, and potential clients by establishing a client base of individuals, organizations, associations, social, and/or corporate business.

- Negotiate group guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and/or hotel services within approved booking guidelines. Accurately produce and/or review all sales contracts, rate agreements, and or/banquet/catering event orders.

- Monitor and handle inquiry calls and provide client proposals in accordance with established departmental policies & procedures.

- Work closely with other hotel departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients. Disseminate sales-related information to other departments as appropriate.

- Arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients. Entertain clients in accordance with established company and hotel policies and guidelines.

- Maintain client files and update information daily. Produce months sales-related reports and sales forecasts for assigned area of responsibility.

- Attend and represent hotel in the community at trade shows, Chamber Mixers, community events, and possible sales trips to key feeder markets.

- Follow up with clients regularly during and after departure to ensure satisfaction and secure future bookings

- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. 


Part-time & full-time positions available.

The Bell/Valet works collaboratively with our front desk team to ensure every guest is greeted and welcomed with genuine hospitality. Responsible for providing exceptional guest service, the Bell/Valet assists arriving and departing guests with their luggage (ability to lift 80lbs required), and vehicle (drivers license required), while engaging attentively with each guest. Duties of the Bell/Valet include offering a helping hand, making local recommendations and suggestions, as well as going above and beyond to provide each guest with a warm and welcoming experience at the Courtyard Burlington Harbor.

Maintenance Technician 

Full-time position


The Maintenance Technician is responsible to ensure that all maintenance duties and projects are carried out quickly and to the required standard in all guest rooms, meeting spaces, public areas and back of house areas of the hotel at all times. We are looking for an individual who is team oriented and eager to assist and problem solve. The Maintenance Technician is expected to have the knowledge and ability to help in all emergency procedures while aiming to learn, grow and develop hotel operations for constant improvement.

Night Audit

Full-time position - *This is a night shift position*


The Night Audit accurately maintains records of all hotel sales transactions and assists the Front Desk with providing service to guests during the overnight shift. the Night Auditor is responsible for presenting a positive image of the Hotel to all guests while anticipating and assisting with late night check ins and check outs with attentive service to not inconvenience guests.

The Night Auditor ensures that audits are completed free of mathematical or procedural errors while reports, daily receipts, tapes, supporting documentation are chronologically filed. The individual in this role will maintain open communication channels with co-workers and managers drawing immediate attention to any out-of-the ordinary issues.

Housekeeping Manager

Full-time position

The Housekeeping Manager heads the housekeeping team. The Housekeeping Manager at the Courtyard Burlington Harbor Hotel is responsible for planning, organizing, and development of the overall operation of the housekeeping department in accordance with Marriott standards, while ensuring the highest degree of quality guest service. The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for staffing, scheduling, training of team members as well as the ordering of all guest related items. This is a great opportunity for someone with housekeeping management or supervisory experience looking to move up ion their careers
